Walk to Remember
Mandy Moore's character, Jamie Sullivan, in "A Walk to Remember" stands out among the rest. What makes her different than the other students her age? Is this a positive or negative thing?

Mandy Moore's character stood out because of her incredible faith, and her strength. She was not influenced by her peers, she acted exactly as she believed was correct, and she stayed strong and collected even though she knew she was going to die soon. She didnt care what others thought of her, only that she was happy, and God was happy with her. She was completely un-conformed, and completely happy that way.
Mandy Moore's character in A Walk to Remember was so different from the others because she was very strong in her faith. she believed in God and that He would do the right thing and he had a plan for her life. no one else in the school was similar to her in that way. she loved and saw the beauty in things that most people didnt. she was always ridiculed and teased for how conservative she was but they didnt know that didnt matter to her because she knew that her modesty pleased God. also the latest trends didnt matter to her because she knew thats not what was important in God's eyes. she also was a servant to those who needed help and when Landon played by Shane West had to do a bunch of community service for getting in trouble, he saw her kind heart and when they did the play he saw how really beautiful she was and he fell in love with her for her love of life even when they both knew she was dying of cancer. she taught landon that he didnt always have to be loved by everyone but you should just be who you are and accept yourself. this movie is really great because it is an example of us as Christians should be with our faith and not just be like everybody else. This is a positive thing because it shows how strong and above the influence she is.
Mandy's Moore character is a really good influence upon many people, i guarentee it! she doesnt carre what people think about her and his herself around people. she doesnt have to pretend to be someone cool or someone who is better than anyone else. She likes who she is and is really comfortablle wioth herself. She has a lot of faith in herself and isnt afraid to show it. She loves who she is. She is a young girl and doesnt want to fall in love because of her cancer, and she told him that she didnt want him falling in love with her... cause she wanted to be considerate of him and didnt want him to get to attached in case something would have happeened to her. she is a very sweet gir; and it is a very positive role. She had a very unbelievable relationshopp with god, and had GREATTTT strehgth
